October 15 @ 7:00 pm - October 16 @ 7:30 pm
Thursday, October 15th, 7:00-7:30 PM
In New Ulm along Broadway street, beginning at Center and Broadway
Participants are requested to wear a mask and stand 6 feet apart, holding candles.
Chalk markings (peace signs) placed on the sidewalk will indicate where to stand.
This event commemorates the first Moratorium to End the War in Vietnam in 1969.
It is sponsored by New Ulm Forward, Equity for New Ulm, and the Human Rights Commission.
There comes a time when we need to put aside our differences and “stand or sit” together for peace.
Bring a mask, candle, and chair if you like. This is a family friendly event.
