Three people from Hutchinson are facing multiple felony charges after authorities executed a narcotics search warrant at a residence. On Thursday, Hutchinson Police and the Southwest Metro Drug Task force executed the search warrant and officers discovered several firearms and ammunition, drug paraphernalia that contained residue that field tested positive or methamphetamine, a white crystalline substance that field tested positive for methamphetamine, baggies, and a scale. Police say 23-year-old Brittney May Nussbaum and 40-year-old Jose Juan Cano were in the residence and were arrested and transported to the McLeod County Jail. Thirty-six-year-old Jamie Dale Schlueter, who owns or rents the home, turned himself in to the Hutchinson Police Department later in the day. Nussbaum has been charged with Meth Crimes Involving Children. Cano has been charged with Failure to register as a Predatory Offender and Meth Crimes Involving Children. Schlueter has been charged with Meth Crimes Involving Children, Controlled Substance in the 5th Degree – Possession.
