Spicer man was injured Tuesday morning when the semi-truck he was driving swideswiped a garbage truck in La Qui Parle County. According to the Minnesota State Patrol, Tuesday, a garbage truck driven by 20-year-old Duncan Murdock Schmig, of Minneota, was northbound on Highway 119. Near County Road 20, east of Madison, Schmig made a left hand turn in front of a southbound Piterbilt semi being driven by 30-year-old Anthony David Levitz,of Spicer. The vehicles sideswiped each other, causing damage to each. Levitz was transported to the Dawson Hospital with non-life threatening injuries, along with a passenger, 33-year-old Ruben Lopez, of Leblen, South Dakota.
