School began in a number of ways for students this week in Sleepy Eye. Sleepy Eye Elementary School students began in-person learning for grades 1-6 Monday. Superintendent John Cselovszki checked student temperatures with an infrared thermometer before they got off the school bus Monday morning and gave them instructions on how to enter the school. Students also have the option of virtual learning every day. More than 40 students have opted for daily virtual learning. Cselovszki said no students were sick Monday.
