Authorities requested an arrest warrant for a 33-year-old Welcome, Mn. man accused of stealing three antique signs from a Milford Township residence on July 21. A felony theft charge was filed in Brown County District Court Monday against Gavin E. Flohre, 10 Main St., Welcome. He is in Martin County Jail custody, according to the complaint. According to court documents, the Brown County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a theft of three antique signs at the residence of 21940 U.S. Highway 14 in Milford Township at 10:27 p.m. July 21. The signs were of International Harvester (IH), John Deere, and a farm equipment sign from Gibbon. Two residents told Brown County Deputy Jacob Stueber that the signs were hung at the barn before they were taken. The residents said they went out to do chores on July 21 and noticed the signs missing and a 2-litre coke bottle in the grass near the barn.
