In the interest of public safety, Springfield City Hall, 2 East Central Street, is closed to the public until Wednesday, Sept. 2. The building was closed Thursday, Aug. 20 because one of it’s team members has a confirmed case of COVID-19. Springfield City Hall will reopen on Wednesday, Sept. 2, according to a public advisory notice. The public is encouraged to continue using a drop box in front of city hall for services. Everyone in the community is reminded to actively practice social distancing to help slow the spread of COVID-19 in the community and follow current guidelines provided by the Minnesota Department of Public Health.
