Without all the usual sights, smells and sounds of the Brown County Fair, 4-H judging continues at the Brown County Fairgrounds this week. About the only sounds this year at the fairgrounds are from livestock and the show judge using the public address system. Only 4-H exhibitors and their immediate families are invited. Shows began Monday and conclude Today. The livestock shows were able to continue because of lots of volunteer help from the New Ulm Farm City Hub Club and Brown County Fair volunteers. A horse show was held Monday in the outdoor horse arena. On Wednesday, a swine show was held in the swine barn arena. A beef show followed in the outdoor arena. On Thursday, goat and sheep shows took place in the swine barn arena. A rabbit show followed in the rabbit/poultry barn. A poultry show will be held Today in the rabbit/poultry barn, followed by a dairy show in the outdoor arena.
