July 2020 Hometown Hero: Ron Bolduan

8-60 AM/FM 97-3 KNUJ/SAM 107-3 and your New Ulm Hy Vee announce this month’s Hometown Hero:  Ron Bolduan of New Ulm. Ron’s hobby and passion has evolved into sharing and inspiring others. Photography and extensive exploring of nature in the Minnesota River and Cottonwood River Valleys were the beginning. He created slide presentations for youth and adults. In 2010, Ron began using space in the former Franklin school building in Riverside Park for his large collection of findings and loaned or donated nature and history items. Ron has given many years of countless volunteer hours and is now Curator and Program Coordinator of Riverside History and Nature Learning Center in New Ulm …a hands-on learning experience for all visitors and a particular goal of growing interests for the outdoors in today’s youth. Our latest Hometown Hero: Ron Bolduan of New Ulm. He’ll receive a Hy Vee gift card and be honored at a luncheon this fall. 860 AM KNUJ/FM 97-3 /SAM 107-3 and Hy Vee would like to acknowledge those in your community, neighborhood, organization that give the most precious gift-time to worthwhile causes, helping those less fortunate, rescuing efforts in an emergency situation.
