A 25-year-old New Ulm woman faces five drug charges after she was arrested at the Econo Lodge June 26. Katie A. Rehbein, 711 German St. N., was charged in Brown County District Court Monday with a narcotic sale, drug possession, and the possession of drug paraphernalia. Some charges are felonies and others misdemeanors. Rehbein’s bail was set at $10,000 without conditions Tuesday. A court appearance was set for 8:30 a.m., July 14. According to court documents, Brown County Probation received an anonymous call about Rehbein, who is on probation, being at the Econo Lodge. Probation and law enforcement went to the Econo Lodge and smelled a marijuana odor coming from Rehbein’s room. The room was hazy and smelled strongly of marijuana.
