To help meet voter needs and prepare for the anticipated high demand for absentee mail ballots, absentee ballot applications will be mailed to all registered voters in Brown County. Voters can anticipate receiving this mailing as early as the end of this week. The applications are being sent in an effort to help protect the health and safety of the community and minimize the spread of COVID-19. Brown County is encouraging voters to consider voting by mail this election year. If you do not receive an application you may not be registered to vote. Please register prior to the election. Registration deadline for the August primary is July 21. Anyone who will be 18 on or before Election Day are eligible to vote. Many voters prefer to go to the polls, and that remains an option.
