Food-shelf

Lions Club of New Ulm members packed 14-day food kits for seniors who are homebound due to the COVID-19 pandemic Tuesday night. Homebound is defined as those who only leave home for medical reasons. If you are in need of food and would like kits delivered to you, please call the food shelf at 354-7668. Someone will contact you about any special diet needs and let you know when the delivery will be made. The food shelf, 1305 S. Valley, is open from noon to 3 p.m. Monday and Wednesday and 6:30 to 8 p.m. the first Monday night of the month. Volunteers run the organization, providing food as needed to families and individuals. For more information, call 354-7668 or visit the food shelf Facebook site.
