Brown County commissioners will receive a COVID-19 update from public health and emergency management staff on Tuesday, April 21. Staff will present a situational update, protective recommendations, community mitigation and public health’s role and current activities in the local, state and worldwide constantly-evolving pandemic. As the disease continues to spread, hospitalizations and deaths increase across the state. There are strategies and recommendations in place to help slow the spread of COVID-19. Extending the closure of county buildings until May 4, 2020, or as along as Gov. Walz has a Stay at Home Order in place. The board meeting begins at 9 a.m. Tuesday and will be held electronically.
