Police car chase

A report of a stolen vehicle from a Green Isle resident Sunday morning ultimately led a Plato man being arrested and charged with Motor Vehicle Theft. The Sibley County Sheriff’s Office says at just before 8am, they received the stolen vehicle report and learned that the person’s work vehicle had been stolen and that the vehicle had been unlocked and the keys were in the ignition at the time. Authorities say the vehicle was later found abandoned in rural Meeker County and the investigation later provided information for Sibley County Deputies to apply for a search warrant at a rural McLeod County property. As a result, 34-year-old Breen Sundin of rural Plato was arrested and charged in Sibley County District Court with Motor Vehicle Theft.
