New Ulm City Hall will be closed to the public for the foreseeable future. The New Ulm City Council ordered the building closed to all but essential services during Tuesday’s city council meeting. “To promote social distancing and reduce frequency of large gatherings, the following city offices and facilities are closed to the public until April 5,” said a city press release. “We will tentatively open to the public on April 6, but because this is evolving, we will evaluate this on an ongoing basis.” The public is encouraged to connect with staff through the city website, phone or email. Utility payments can be made in the drop box located in the City Hall parking lot.
