car-accident

A Hutchinson man rolled a 1937 Pontiac Coupe on Friday afternoon in Sibley County. The Pontiac driven by 68-year-old James Flaskerud was southbound on 341st Avenue near Jessenland Road around Henderson when it attempted to stop to avoid traveling on gravel from pavement. Flaskerud braked hard and the vehicle skidded on the road. The vehicle flipped on its roof, leaning on the driver’s side and came to a rest in the ditch. Flaskerud and his passenger, 74-year-old Colleen Williams of Hutchinson were both taken to Ridgeview Sibley Medical Center in Arlington for precautionary measure. Arlington Fire, Police, and Ambulance assisted at the scene.
