The Minnesota State Patrol has been unable to identify a driver involved in an accident on Monday afternoon near New Richland. A Chevy Cavalier driven by 26-year-old Raeanne Shepherd of South Dakota and a Pontiac Sedan were both westbound on Highway 30. The Pontiac was attempting to turn south onto 160th Street when it was rear-ended by the Chevy. Sherpherd and her passenger, 26-year-old William Langdeaux, were both taken to Mayo Clinic Health Systems in Mankato for non-life threatening injuries. The Mankato Free Press reports that the driver of the Pontiac left the scene of the accident.
