BBQ Turkey Chili

2 tablespoons olive oil
1 medium onion, chopped
1 green bell pepper, cored and diced
1 lb ground turkey
3 tablespoons chili powder
½ teaspoon salt
½ cup ketchup
⅓ cup vinegar
2 tablespoons molasses
2 teaspoons sugar
1 can petite-cut diced tomatoes, drained
1 can small white beans, drained and rinsed
1 jalapeño chili, thinly sliced

Heat oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add onion and pepper and cook 5 minutes, stirring, until softened. Increase heat to medium-high and add turkey, breaking apart with a wooden spoon. Cook 5 minutes. Sprinkle with chili powder and salt; cook 1 minute. Stir in ketchup, vinegar, molasses and sugar. Add drained tomatoes, reduce heat to medium-low and simmer 15 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add beans and jalapeño and heat through, about 2 minutes. Serve chili over rice.
