A New Ulm woman is facing domestic assault charges after being accused of attacking an ex-boyfriend. New Ulm Police received a report of an assault on Sunday and were dispatched to the victim’s residence. The victim said his ex-girlfriend 20-year-old Hannah Nelson broke into his home and began to choke him and throw him around. The victim was eventually able to call police and Nelson fled the scene. Nelson admitted to Police that she had gone into the home without permission and that she hit and shoved the victim but said that the victim had struck her in the face and shoved her as well.
