The Minnesota State Patrol reported that multiple vehicles were involved in an accident on Friday evening in Mankato. A Cadillac driven by 33-year-old Dumitru Beck of North Mankato was westbound on Highway 14 and rear ended a Chevy driven by 54-year-old Terri Slowinski of Mankato. Meanwhile, a Nissan driven by 24-year-old Angela Jeffries-Sherwood of Eagle Lake and a Pontiac driven by 25-year-old Mykaila Raduns of Excelsior were also westbound on Highway 14 and stopped at the crash. A Dodge driven by 61-year-old Thomas Filler of North Mankato was coming up to the crash and caused a chain reaction, rear-ending the Pontiac and pushing it into the Nissan. A 6-year-old passenger in the Cadillac and Slowinski and her 7-year-old passenger were taken to Mayo Clinic Health Systems in Mankato for non-life threatening injuries.
