Jayme Closs has been found alive. The 13-year-old had been missing since October when her parents were discovered murdered in their home. Jayme was found yesterday in the town of Gordon, which is about 40 miles southeast of Duluth. Closs reportedly managed to escape from her captor. A short time after she was found, police arrested a suspect. Closs had been the subject of a prolonged search that stretched nationwide.

Barron County, Wisconsin Sheriff Chris Fitzgerald says 21-year-old Jake Patterson of Gordon is in custody and charged with kidnapping 13-year-old Jayme Closs and for killing her parents back on October 15th. She stayed in a Duluth hospital last night for observation and will be reunited with family today.
