860 AM KNUJ/97.3 FM/SAM 107.3 and your New Ulm HyVee announce this month’s Hometown Hero: Jefferson Elementary Teach, Beth Sletta.  She received the Minnesota Agricultre in the Classroom 2019 Outstanding Teacher Award.  This award is given to a Minnesota teacher that exemplifies excellence in the classroom and a passion for teaching agriculture.  Sletta was selected for her efforts in immersing her 650 elementary students in agriculture through their STEM lam and schoolyard garden.  She’ll be attending the 2019 National Agriculture in the Classroom Conference in Little Rock, Arkansas in June.   Sletta will receive a HyVee gift card and be recognized at a luncheon next fall.  Our latest Hometown Hero: Beth Sletta of New Ulm.
