A St. Peter teen is facing 5 counts of transaction card fraud after forging credit card charges for nearly a month at the Mankato Pizza Ranch. From August 11th to September 6th, 19-year-old Emerald Bonebrake would add additional charges to credit card slips in the tip section. An overnight manager became suspicious when they noticed unusually large tips ranging between 10 and 15 dollars. One victim had a tip of $10 added to a food bill of about $18. When the manager confronted her about the charges, she claimed she was flirting with customers to earn larger tips. The investigation revealed at least 19 victims. Restitution is requested.
