The Shakopee man that drove his car into a group of people in 2017 in Mankato has plead guilty. 23-year-old Juan Lamas Jr. drove into a group of people after a fight broke out at a party last September. Court documents listed 6 victims, one whose leg was nearly severed below the knee and another with a compound fracture to their shin and a disfigured foot. After striking the victims, Lamas fled. Lamas plead guilty on Tuesday to 3 counts of 2nd Degree Assault with a Dangerous Weapon, 10 charges were dismissed in a plea deal.
