A Nova House resident in New Ulm has been charged with a felony count of Threats of Violence after threatening to shoot staff. New Ulm Police were called to the residence on Sunday because a client, 36-year-old Kristopher Dailey, had made a threat to a staff member that he would shoot her in the face the next time she looked at him. This came after the staff member denied Dailey’s request to go his bank. Dailey then left the residence to get coffee, and because staff was unsure if he’d be able to obtain a firearm, they saw it as a concern for safety. When Police questioned Dailey, he asked if the Police had contact with the Oval Office and President Trump and he denied the threats and said that he was fine and taking his medications.
