A Le Sueur man has been charged with 4 counts of Criminal Vehicular Operation and 2 counts of DWI after colliding head-on with another vehicle in September. The accident occurred on September 9th on Le Sueur County Road 149 near Dairy Lane when 26-year-old Alex Lemmer’s vehicle crossed the center line and didn’t give oncoming traffic time to react. While investigating the crash, deputies with the Le Sueur County Sheriff’s Office found an open bottle of Fireball whiskey in the back seat of Lemmer’s vehicle. A portable breath test showed that Lemmer had a blood alcohol concentration of .24. Lemmer’s passenger suffered a broken arm and severe chest and abdominal pain in the crash.
