Nice weather earlier this week has allowed farmers to catch up a little on harvests. Sibley and Nicollet County U of M Extension Educator Jason Ertl estimated that farmers are 35% done with corn and 60% done with bean harvests. Ertl says yields are being reported across the board because of excessive rain and storm damage. He said beans are between 50 and 60 bushels and corn is between 170 and 200 bushels.
